Considerations for Choosing a Major and Minor

After identifying a major that interests you, consider how it connects to a satisfying career. Most majors are more versatile than you might expect. Use the following resources to explore connections between academic programs and potential career paths.

  • What Can I Do With This Major: Identify possible career paths, typical employers and strategies to maximize your opportunities.
  • Field of Degree (FOD) from the Bureau of Labor Statistics: Review data on academic fields, including information about workers with specific degrees, related occupations and job outlook.

Note: Not all majors listed on these sites are offered at Creighton University.
