Enterprise Risk Management (Graduate Certificate)

All courses in the enterprise risk management program are offered in eight-week sessions entirely online, giving you optimal flexibility when it comes to where and when you study.
You’ll also have the option of choosing your final course in the program from several elective options. Topics include crisis planning and enterprise communication, insurance risk management, applied behavioral finance and more, and you can choose whichever course most closely aligns with your interests or profession.
Plus, you’re well on your way to earning a master’s degree if you choose to further advance your education. The credits you earn in the ERM certificate program can be applied toward a full Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Program Goals and Curriculum
Creighton University’s online graduate certificate program in Enterprise Risk Management consists of 15 credit hours and can be completed in about a year. It is ideal for those wishing to take on a risk management role in their organization.

Master's and Dual Degree Options
Credits earned for this graduate certificate can be applied toward a full Master of Business Administration, which can be combined with a variety of other master's degrees as a dual degree.

To be considered for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management program, applicants must:
- Complete an application
- Include an updated curriculum vitae or resume

- Submit a personal statement of interest in the graduate certificate
- Evidence of at least one undergraduate statistics course
A personal interview may be requested in addition to the above requirements. The interview may be conducted in-person or virtually.
International students are welcomed into this program so long as they complete it from their country of residence, as F-1 visas will not be issued.
