Creighton Commitments

Creighton Commitments

As guided by our mission and Jesuit values, Creighton believes in the continuous improvement of student learning. Creighton students will cultivate and embody upon graduation the following Creighton Commitments in order to be successful in their future endeavors and reflective of Jesuit ideals.

All Creighton graduates will exemplify:

  1. disciplinary competence and/or professional proficiency,
  2. critical thinking skills,
  3. Ignatian values, including an exploration of faith and the promotion of justice,
  4. the ability to communicate clearly and effectively,
  5. deliberative reflection for personal and professional formation, and
  6. the ability to work effectively across all distinctions of human diversity.

Across the University, student learning outcomes are informed by and developed from these Creighton Commitments.

To affirm our Commitments, Creighton programs, departments, and co-curricular offices conduct assessments of student learning and formation, discuss results, and make quality improvements when the need arises.
