Aaron Rivera, a senior in the Heider College of Business, participated in three internships using Creighton’s connections to industry leaders including Union Pacific Railroad, headquartered in Omaha. As a double major in marketing and business intelligence and analytics, Aaron studies data analysis, but his internship at the Fortune 500 company is helping him put what he has learned into action.




As an intern with Global Partners in Hope, Cooper Idt helps to develop virtual and in-person trips to West Africa. The nonprofit builds water wells and health facilities, and he found the opportunity via Creighton professor Ian Vickers, who is the nonprofit’s president and CEO. Cooper says the work has given him direction, experiences of a lifetime and a way to live out his passions.
Meghan Baudendistel says Creighton armed her with the tools to land and succeed in the sought-after business analyst internship at Amazon. The internship, in turn, solidified her plans to pursue a career in business intelligence and analytics.
