Dean Vance is an Instructor in the Business Intelligence and Analytics Department at Creighton University, where he teaches Business Analytics and Production and Operations Management. He joined the Creighton University faculty team in July 2024, bringing over 25 years of industry experience in operations, project, and product roles at companies like First Data, 3M, and CSG. Additionally, Dean served for 30 years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring in 2019 with the rank of Sergeant Major.

A graduate of Creighton University with a bachelor’s degree and Ohio University with an MBA in Supply Chain and Operations Management, Dean is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, specifically the application of deep learning neural networks in complex production and manufacturing environments.
