Mission
The Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) promotes a community of reflective and courageous teacher-scholars engaged in the personal and professional formation of students. The CFE supports excellence and innovation in teaching and learning through the professional growth of Creighton faculty and staff in the Jesuit tradition.
Areas of Focus
Faculty Development
- Ongoing scholarly formation experiences designed to enhance student learning, promote the scholarship of teaching and learning, and facilitate institution-wide understanding of effective teaching.
eLearning
- Creighton's academic online and distance learning initiatives are directly supported by the eLearning team.
Assessment
- Assessment occurs at the course, program, college, school, and university levels.
Program Review and Proposals
- Academic Program Review enables the University to focus attention on academic programs and that resources are used in alignment with the mission. New Program Proposals offer assistance with developing new academic programs.
