The mural at Maha Fest outlines six different feathers that represent each mindset stated above. These mindsets are now what graduates are expected to possess when entering the workforce, and are the basis for the Heider College of Business at Creighton University’s new curriculum.

Throughout the day at the festival, attendees will participate in this interactive arts attraction to help create a beautiful masterpiece!

The Heider mindset curriculum was launched in Fall of 2020. Following the guidance of leading Fortune 500 companies, industry executives, alumni and the curricula of the nation’s top business schools, the new curriculum is more than a “curriculum”. It combines cocurricular activities, internships, leadership programs, service trips and events and more to form future leaders of the business world who will positively impact the world.

The mural was designed by John-Paul Gurnett, BA’11, and is an homage to Andy Warhol.

The Heider College of Business partnered with BFF to create this mural. BFF is an organization that supports the arts and community by advocating for education, inclusion, opportunity and unique experience, while also continuing to build community in Benson and Omaha. Learn more about BFF.
