Research Focus
My research focuses on ethical behavior in organizations. I am interested in factors that support or inhibit ethical behavior from employees and leaders. My research focuses primarily in three areas that fall under the umbrella of behavioral ethics: (1) moral emotions which are emotions that are linked to the interests of individuals other than the person feeling the emotion; (2) ethical and unethical leadership; and (3) ethical behavior in general. These themes are often intertwined in my work. My overarching goal is to establish a programmatic body of scholarship that extends existing research and informs social scientists and practicing managers alike.
