Join us virtually for four informative workshops supporting a new project, A Culturally Responsive Academic Climate Approach to Mistreatment in Medical Education. This project takes a culturally congruent approach to how we acknowledge, educate, and assess mistreatment in Health Sciences education.
The academic climate benefits from bringing mistreatment to light and including it in cross-cultural conversations, enabling Creighton Health Sciences students, staff, and faculty, to reduce incidents of mistreatment as well as identify and appropriately intervene when mistreatment occurs. As we discuss mistreatment, we provide a psychologically safe and nurturing climate for learning, where all those in the Creighton community can thrive.
