EARLY CLOSURE MARCH 4 - Due to the forecast for severe winter weather, Creighton's Omaha campus will close at 7 P.M. this evening.
All in-person classes, clinics, and events, regardless of start time, are asked to end by 7 P.M. For those needing a shuttle, please visit my.creighton.edu for the most up-to-date maps and schedule. Shuttles will run until 8 P.M. this evening. We encourage you to be mindful of other closures or impacted services across the city as well.
Employees, including those classified as responsible for “essential operations” should review Creighton's Weather and Emergency-Related Absence Policy and work with your immediate supervisor on expectations for job functions during this curtailment of campus operations.

Campers going into grades 1-6 are invited to register for one or more week-long sessions. Each camp week will include traditional summer camp activities of arts & crafts, swimming, and games, along with special activities and field trips based on that week’s theme.
Registration will open on Friday, January 31, 2025, for benefit-eligible faculty/staff and student members and on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 9 a.m. for the general public.
Cost: $250 per session (Week 1 is $200)
Schedule: Camps run from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day.
Extended care is available (7:30 a.m. drop-off, 5:30 p.m. pick-up) for a $25 add-on fee per session. Benefit-eligible faculty/staff and student members can opt-in to extended care for no additional fee by emailing bluejaykidscamp@creighton.edu.
Will food be provided?
A light morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Campers are expected to pack a nut-free lunch each day.
What staff will be present during the day?
Camp Staff will be comprised of Creighton professional staff and students who have all passed a background check and are Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Certified.

Is there a refund policy?
Refunds are provided up to two weeks before your camp session begins.
Are phones permitted?
It is advised to leave cell phones at home, but in the event a camper must bring their phone with them the phone must stay in their backpack during the entire camp day. Cell phone use will not be allowed during camp. If a parent/guardian needs to contact a camper, please do so by calling the Recreation and Wellness main office.
What type of attire does my child need to bring?
Campers should come to camp dressed for a full day of activity. Camp tshirts are required to be worn every day. We recommend outdoor activity clothes and athletic shoes. Closed toed shoes are required every day of camp. Swim attire will be needed on swim days, which will be announced in advance.
When will I learn more about the sessions?
Two weeks prior to the beginning of the camp season, additional information will be shared including details about: Drop-off/pick-up, Lunches, Snacks, Attire etc. One week prior to your camp session you will receive session specific information and schedule.
Can we meet the Counselors before camp begins?
Yes! Join us on Wednesday June 4th from 5:30-7:30 for Bluejay Summer Kids Camp Preview Night. This night is designed for all registered campers and their guardians to meet our camp counselors, ask questions, see the facility, and get a sneak peek to all that Bluejay Summer Kids camp has to offer this summer!
