Associate Vice Provost for Student Engagement
Dr. Bogard works directly with the Department of Recreation and Wellness, the Creighton Intercultural Center, the Student Leadership and Involvement Center, and student life within the Encuentro Dominicano program in the Dominican Republic to encourage students to explore their identities as holistic leaders and community members. Dr. Bogard spearheads the Creighton Cupboard and the Creighton Comprehensive Student Record (CCSR), and engages in committee work surrounding global education, diversity and inclusion, and women’s issues. Dr. Bogard earned a PhD in Educational Studies – specializing in Educational Leadership and Higher Education – from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, a Masters of Science Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Bachelors of Arts degree in International Relations, minoring in Spanish from Drake University. Dr. Bogard has received the St. Ignatius Award from Creighton University’s Deglman Center for Spirituality, the Magis Award from Creighton’s Division of Student Life and the Distinguished Graduate Award from St. Raphael School.
