Research Focus

Mechanisms of neurite outgrowth and identification of potential neurotrophic agents that could induce neuronal differentiation and neurite outgrowth conferring therapeutic protection against neurodegenerative diseases. Also, development of new formulations and novel drug delivery techniques to improve the ocular bioavailability of poorly permeating drugs that may play an important role in treatment of ocular infections and retinal diseases.
