Dental Programs
Prepare for excellence in dental care.
The Creighton University School of Dentistry offers dynamic programs that prepare students to be expert dental professionals who provide quality care to their patients.
We emphasize evidence-based science and ethical dimensions of dental care, as well as hands-on clinical experience, to promote our students’ competence in clinical techniques and skills. Through a dental education that cultivates a spirit of service, our graduates become exemplars and leaders in dental education, in research, in their practices and in their communities.
Program Options:
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Advanced Standing
Pre-Dental Post-Baccalaureate Program
Oral Biology
Doctor of Dental Surgery Program

Advanced Standing Program
Students in the program complete selections from the standard Creighton curriculum – generally those studied by our sophomores and juniors – along with special clinical requirements. The program typically takes two years or more to complete and will culminate into a DDS degree. To be eligible, applicants must have passed National Boards Part 1 and have scored at least 90 on the TOEFL exam to show proficiency in English.
Pre-Dental Post-Baccalaureate Program
Creighton’s post-baccalaureate program helps you prepare for dental school. The program provides clinical experience and support in applying for dental school and is designed to strengthen your academic abilities in mathematics and science within a small group setting.

Oral Biology Program
The graduate program in Oral Biology is a program of study culminating in the Master of Science degree. The Oral Biology program is flexible and will foster an interdisciplinary approach using School of Dentistry research, courses and facilities to cater to the needs of individual students with hopes of attending dental school in the future.
