BlueJay Fitness Classes

Fitness Classes for every interest and skill level.

Recreation and Wellness provides classes for everyone, from the beginner to the experienced exerciser. With a group fitness pass, you can attend as many classes as you’d like. Passes are $25 per semester and $10 per summer

You may purchase a pass in the Recreation and Wellness office during business hours, or online.

  • Stretch + Flex (LVL 1): Like yoga, this class focuses on mindfulness and reflection, while improving flexibility + posture, decreasing muscle tension + stress, and improving your overall core strength.
  • Gentle Yoga + Meditation (LVL 1)
  • Barre (LVL 2): A muscle-toning class that utilizes a ballet barre for many of the exercises. Your muscular endurance will be challenged by very high reps and low weights, with the goal of fatiguing all major muscle groups for a full body workout.
  • BlueJay Cycle (LVL 2): A high energy, 45-minute cycling class in which you will be riding flat roads and hills to build lower body strength and improve cardiovascular fitness. The music is high, and the energy is even higher! This is a great low impact option for your joints.
  • Jay Jump (LVL 2): Come and jump with us! Jump Rope that is! This 45-minute class will be sure to get the heart rate up while building full body strength and increasing your cardiovascular fitness.
  • Vinyasa Flow (LVL 2): Seamlessly string together yoga postures/exercises by linking your breath to the movement. No two classes will ever be alike!  
  • WERQ (LVL 2): An addictive cardio dance class based around the hottest pop and hip-hop music. The workout is non-stop with repetitive athletic moves and fresh dance steps, so you get the best sweat!
  • Zumba (LVL 2): Experience fun and challenging fitness twist in this Latin-inspired dance routine class.
  • Yoga + Sculpt (LVL 3)

Register for Classes

  • Go to
  • Sign-In with your NETID and password
  • Click on “Programs”
  • Click on #BlueJay Fitness Classes in the left-hand column
  • Click on the class you would like to register for
  • Click “Register” for the class date you would like to register for
