Creighton is dedicated to providing its students and staff access to a comprehensive set of resources to aid in research efforts.
Resources available include statistical analysis, facilities assistance and grant review funding and compliance.
Creighton’s facilities provide research support to our investigators and community of researchers.
In order to assist investigators in obtaining NIH funding, the School of Medicine has established a program for internal pre-review of NIH grant submissions.
Applications being submitted for NIH funding may submit a grant for pre-review by the CU mock study section and receive feedback designed to help revision of the application to improve competitiveness for funding by NIH.
If you are interested in our internal grant review program, please contact SOMResearch@creighton.edu for more details.
The Statistics and Informatics team within the Department of Clinical Research provides expert methodological, statistical and informatics support for clinical research projects, assisting with study design, data abstraction from the electronic medical record, statistical analyses, interpretation and manuscript preparation.
We also provide training and mentoring for learners and faculty with an interest in pursuing clinical research. Requests for the Statistics and Informatics team may be made after identifying a research topic, discussing it with a Research Interest Group and sending a completed Study Proposal Form to ResearchAcademic@creighton.edu.
