"I'm sure that my undergraduate time at Creighton doing research is preparing me very well for a graduate program in chemistry." —Connor Price

As a curious Bluejay, Connor Price conducts research on chemo-sensing properties of aminopyridine click chelators, gaining hands-on laboratory experience in chemistry.

In Connor’s sophomore year at Creighton, his organic chemistry professor noticed his interest in research and connected him to opportunities. “There's a lot of overlap between classes and the research that I do,” says Connor, “especially in terms of the techniques that I use to study the molecules that I make.”

Connor plans to attend graduate school in the future and continue studying chemistry. “Research is a huge part of being a good candidate to go to graduate school in chemistry, and I'm 100% sure it's prepared me very well.”
