You will learn in state-of-the art labs with the latest in patient simulation equipment.
To apply for the program, you need EMT certification at the state or national level that is active and in good standing. You also need current CPR certification at the health care provider/professional rescuer level.
You are required to have a minimum of two references in support of your application. Possible recommenders include an instructor, professional colleague or employer.
You must have a laptop to use throughout the paramedic program. Please view our technology requirements and recommendations for students.
Because of the nature of the field and clinical components of your paramedic training, you are required to complete a comprehensive certified background check. You are responsible for the cost of this investigation, completed by a vendor chosen by Creighton. Instructions will be provided in your post-acceptance welcome package. Please Note: If you have already completed this process within the past 12 months as a Creighton EMT student you do not need to do another background check.
As a paramedic student, you must comply with the immunization requirements for Creighton Health Sciences students. Instructions for submitting immunization information will be provided in your acceptance materials. Learn more.
