Living in Intentional Community

Magis teachers live together in intentional Christian communities of 3–8 participants, sharing the everyday joys and challenges of teaching, graduate school, faith, and life. Community provides a place of belonging, support, accountability, and friendship as teachers grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.

Living simply and intentionally, Magis teachers share meals, celebrate successes, navigate challenges, pray together, and make time for fun and connection. They learn not only how to live alongside one another, but how to listen, communicate, support, and accompany others—skills that shape them as educators and leaders.

Community also extends beyond the walls of the Magis house. Teachers are encouraged to become active members of their schools, parishes, neighborhoods, and cities, building relationships and discovering what it means to truly become part of the communities they serve.

Community in Magis is more than shared housing—it is formation through shared life.
