The Division of Palliative Medicine is committed to collaborative and interdisciplinary scholarship in improving clinical palliative care, curricular innovation, and integration with arts and the humanities. We partner regularly with Creighton’s other health profession schools, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Medicine’s Department of Medical Humanities.
Current efforts include exploring impact of patient and caregiver narratives on preclinical students’ attitudes on palliative topics such as “quality of life”; integrating palliative principles and skills into interprofessional curricula; and examining impact of spiritual care on both patient and clinician experience.
