Cinical Training
First Year Fellow
- 9 months gastroenterology inpatient consultative service and in and outpatient endoscopy at the academic medical center, with inpatient time split between the luminal and the hepatobiliary services.
- 1 month ambulatory clinic
- 1 month research
- 1 month of Introduction to Endoscopy
- 1/2 day weekly continuity clinic throughout the year
- Conferences and lectures
Second Year Fellow
- 3 months Immanuel outpatient endoscopy with consults
- 3 months inpatient hepatobiliary consultative service with outpatient endoscopy at the academic medical center
- 3 months research
- 3 months ambulatory clinic
- 1/2 day weekly continuity clinic throughout the year
- 1/2 day endoscopy during research and clinic months
- Manometry and capsule endoscopy integrated throughout the year
- Conferences and lectures
Third Year Fellow
- 3 months Immanuel outpatient endoscopy with consults
- 2 months advanced therapeutic endoscopy
- 3 months ambulatory clinic
- 1 month of radiology and surgery elective
- 3 months of research and elective
- 1/2 day weekly continuity clinic throughout the year
- Half day endoscopy during research and clinic months
- Manometry and capsule endoscopy integrated throughout the year
- Conferences and lectures
- Apply to national or international training opportunities (pending individual approval)
- Endoscopy, clinics, additional advance endoscopy, and research months tailored to meet the individual fellow’s needs
- Radiology/ surgery elective
- Nutrition module
